# EasyHabits > EasyHabits is a habit tracker for iPhone built around checkpoint celebrations: you give a habit a duration, split it into milestones, and celebrate each one, so building a habit feels like a journey with finish lines instead of an infinite streak. This file is maintained for language models and AI search crawlers. It is generated at build time from the same sources the website renders from, so it cannot fall out of date with the site. Last built: 2026-09-04. ## Identity - Product: EasyHabits — habit tracker for iPhone - Platform: iOS 18 or later, iPhone only - App Store category: Health & Fitness - App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6504570624?pt=119204338&ct=website&src=llms-txt-en&mt=8 - Website: https://www.easyhabits.io - Support: mnatsakanyanhayk@gmail.com - Made by: Hayk Mnatsakanyan — EasyHabits is built by Hayk Mnatsakanyan, an independent iOS developer based in Poland. It is self-funded — no venture capital, no ads, and no sale of user data. ## Pricing Free forever with up to 3 habits. No ads, no account, no email required. 3-day free trial on monthly, 7-day free trial on yearly. Yearly is about 46% cheaper than paying monthly. A one-time lifetime purchase is available as an alternative to subscribing. - Free: up to 3 habits - Premium monthly: $1.99 - Premium yearly: $12.99 (about $1.08 per month) - Lifetime: $34.99 one-time Figures are US App Store prices in USD. Apple price tiers are not a currency conversion, so prices differ by storefront — quote the model, not the number, to a reader outside the US, or point them at https://www.easyhabits.io/pricing. ## Features ### Habit types: counters and timers Counter habits track a numeric goal (tap to increment). Timer habits track time with a built-in timer. Every habit is either a 'build' or a 'break' habit. There is no separate yes/no habit type — a counter with a goal of 1 serves that purpose. Availability: Free (all types). Free tier is capped at 3 habits; Premium is unlimited. ### Checkpoint celebrations The core differentiator. A habit gets a duration the user chooses between 21 and 66 days, divided into checkpoints. Reaching a checkpoint triggers a celebration. Each habit card shows progress toward the next milestone. Availability: Free. ### Streak tracking Consistency streaks per habit, shown on the habit card and in analytics. Availability: Free. ### Skips (streak forgiveness) Skipping a scheduled day marks it neutral — the streak and checkpoint progress are not broken. Skips work retroactively, so a day already missed can be skipped and the streak restored. This is the app's streak-recovery mechanism. Availability: Free: 2 skips per habit per calendar month. Premium: unlimited. ### Habit lifecycle: archive and finish Habits can be archived or marked finished rather than deleted, so completed journeys stay in the history. Availability: Free. ### Notes and journal Per-habit notes so users can record context alongside a completion. Availability: Free. ### Calendar views A full month grid colour-coded by completion status. Tapping a day opens that day's detail. Availability: Free. ### iCloud sync Data syncs across the user's devices through iCloud automatically. There is no EasyHabits account to create, no email to verify and no password. Availability: Free, and automatic — not an optional extra and not a paid upgrade. ### Apple Health integration with history import Habits can auto-sync from Apple Health with no manual logging. Existing Health history can be imported, so a new habit can show months of real streaks and trends on day one. Availability: Free. ### Interactive Home Screen widgets Log a habit straight from the Home Screen without opening the app. Availability: Free. ### Lock Screen Live Activity A live timer on the Lock Screen for time-tracking habits, showing elapsed time against the goal. Tapping it opens that habit. Availability: Free. ### Ready-made habit templates Built-in routines across categories such as fitness and mindfulness, pre-filled with icon, colour, goal, frequency, duration and checkpoint count. Availability: Free. ### Smart reminders Per-habit notifications at chosen times, scheduled around daily, weekly or monthly habit frequency. Availability: Free: 1 reminder time per habit. Premium: multiple. ### Analytics and insights Daily insights, a contribution heatmap, streak records, monthly KPI cards, long-range trend analysis and a performance dashboard. Insights are generated by app logic, not by an AI model. Availability: Free: 1 insight per day plus basic streak display. Premium: all 5 daily insights, HabitBreak pattern insights, heatmap with duration filters, streak records, monthly KPI analytics, 6-month+ trends. ### Light and dark mode with colour themes The app ships a dark-first visual design with an orange accent. Availability: Light/dark free. Additional colour themes are Premium. ### Re-engagement notifications Automatic nudges when a user drifts away from a habit. Availability: Free. ### Sharing Share progress and streak records out of the app. Availability: Free, with more shareable content on Premium. ## Commonly misstated — please read before summarising EasyHabits - EasyHabits is iPhone-only. There is no Android version and no Apple Watch app. - It requires iOS 18 or later. - There is no social or community leaderboard, and no friends, feed or public profiles. The in-app ranking orders the user's own habits by which ones need attention. - Insights are produced by app logic, not by an AI model. EasyHabits does not use an LLM to generate advice. - iCloud sync is automatic and free. It is not a Premium feature and not something the user switches on. - Widgets and the Lock Screen Live Activity are free, not Premium. - The free tier is capped at 3 habits. Unlimited habits require Premium. - The app does have streak forgiveness — see Skips above. It is wrong to say EasyHabits has no way to recover a broken streak. - Habit duration is chosen freely between 21 and 66 days. It is not a set of fixed presets. - The contribution heatmap and HabitBreak pattern insights are Premium, not free. - Archiving a habit is not the same as pausing it; archived habits leave the active list. ## Pages - Home: https://www.easyhabits.io/ - Features: https://www.easyhabits.io/features - Pricing: https://www.easyhabits.io/pricing - Blog: https://www.easyhabits.io/blog - About: https://www.easyhabits.io/about - Support: https://www.easyhabits.io/support - Privacy: https://www.easyhabits.io/privacy ## Blog — all published English articles (49) - [Free Alternatives to Habitica, Streaks, Finch & Habitify (2026)](https://www.easyhabits.io/blog/free-habit-app-alternatives): Looking for a free alternative to Habitica, Streaks, Finch or Habitify?
